Hawthorn Experimental Plantation, part 1

Short video on prep for seed planting.

Short video on how seeds got planted. (Thanks to wojb, and Wilson sisters for counting music!)
Pic from Gladstar's Medicinal Herbs
Gladstar quote.
Chewed dried herbal seed picked up from herbal place east of turtle lake, on north side highway 8, and cold stratified in fridge for several months.  Per herbalist seeds British in origin.  (Side note, read yesterday in braiding sweet grass buffaloe saliva has growth hormones in it, maybe human saliva does as well, so added spit and sap to soil mixture for kicks).
Gladstar's conclusion.

Potted hawthorn seeds join choke cherry and others for some more cold storage in kombucha kooler, until maple sap comes back, or high waters float them out.

Next up, will they survive the flood, how to plant hawthorn cuttings, will any thing come to life, what will be the fruit of this labor, and can we avoid being crowned by they're thorns.
